Valley Center's varsity boys soccer team ran into a rough stretch through the holidays, as they earned a tie and were handed four losses in the five games since the last win.

The Jaguars began league play last week looking to get back to the winning ways they displayed early in the season, but have been stymied in the last two games with another loss and a tie.

The Jags played at Oceanside last Wednesday and suffered a 2–0 loss to open league play, then followed that with a game at Del Norte that finished as a 1–1 tie.

The Jaguars have a pair of home games this week that will hopefully lead to another win, as they host Ramona on Wednesday and Orange Glen on Friday. Both games are scheduled for 5:15 p.m.
