February 26, 2014Valley Center Chamber of Commerce is starting 2014 off with a bang! During our amazing Installation Dinner and Dance, held at the beautiful, historic Melrose Ranch, we celebrated our Large Business of the Year, Bates Nut Farm; our Small Business of the Year, The Vineyard Wines and Tastes; and our Citizens of the Year Martina Day and Frank Holtz.
A fantastic SunRiser followed in February where the Chamber was joined by Juan Zaragoza from Escondido Toyota; Chamber Counsel John Smylie; Ben Erickson from Trusted Computer Consulting; Lisa Ballard from Krueger Realty; Dr. Greg Carlson from Valley Center Smiles; Dottie Christiansen; Katie and Amy from the new Valley Salon and Nail Spa; Jana Limon from Valley Center Wellness Spa; Moira Neibert from the Wallen Group; Julie Stroh from Melrose Ranch Events; Anita Noone from A. Noone Feldenkrais Studio; John Yeager with Summit Mortgage Corp.; Lenny Kerbs of Kerbs Custom Photography; Terrill Burdick from Garden of Eden Events and Brandon Strausbaugh with Pauma Valley Insurance Agency, Inc. where we shared a hearty (or delicious) breakfast and "gave business and got business."
We'd like to give a special thanks to Ben Erickson, from Trusted Computer Consulting, for providing the coffee cups!
As if that wasn't enough, in just a month and a half 15 new members have joined the Chamber. A total of seven new members attended our February Sundowner hosted by Valley Center Happenings with a guest Speaker from Valley Center Relay for Life. It was a wonderful evening with a special presentation from Susan Guenther, Director of Advertising and Promotions, highlighting the great contributions Valley Center Happenings has made to Valley Center and sharing their focus of becoming Valley Centers' Complete Social Media Solution .
