Ridgeview Church

A mix of all walks of Valley Center life, from The Greatest Generation, to cowboys, to hippies to yuppies to Gen-Xers, and sermons applicable to all. St. Stephens

This week is the Youth Life Game Nite, Divine Mercy Devotion, RCIC in Spanish, RCIA in English and Spanish, Spanish choir rehearsal, Bible Study on the Book of Acts, Confession, St. Vincent pantry distribution, Spanish Faith Formation and Catholic's Divorce Survival guide.

A trip is planned to Joshua Tree State Park for the High School Youth on Thursday, Feb. 20. A small backpack, sack lunch, water and $ for dinner are needed.

Sixteenth Annual Divine Mercy Conference will be at Mission San Antonio de Pala, San Juan Diego Center next weekend, Feb. 21-22 beginning with Mass celebrated by Bishop Cirilo Flores at 7 p.m. No reservation is necessary for the Mass however reservations are needed for the conference on Saturday. Girl's Confirmation Retreat Reunion will be Sunday, Feb. 23 after the Confirmation session in the Youth Room. Bring your quiver and your journal!

ATTENTION ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: no student parking is allowed in the St. Stephen parking lot during school hours and sporting practice/events. Cars not here for church business will be towed away at owner's expense.

Seventh-day Adventist

Seventh-day Adventist Church, preaching the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. Our next Haven House feeding the homeless is this Thursday evening, Feb. 20. Sabbath Saturday services will begin with Bible study classes at 9:30 a.m. for all ages. The adult lesson is entitled, "With the Rich and Famous,'" continuing our quarter's studies on "Discipleship." Lessons are available by looking up "ssnet.org" online. The sermon will be presented by Elder David Crockett. Sermons are posted on our website which can be located at davalleycenter.net. A fellowship meal will be served after the church service. Sunday there will be singing at 10 a.m. at the Villas Convalescent Center in Escondido. Wednesday is prayer meeting at 7 p.m. with supper at 6 p.m. We are studying the book The Desire of Ages on the life of Christ. All are invited.
