The quintessential "country church". Friendly people, great music and sermons that are entertaining, thought-provoking, and usually not boring. This Sunday, Pastor Bill will be speaking on something so amazing that it will be talked about at delis and water coolers all week. This week began with a bake sale, then First Communion in Spanish, Middle School youth, High School Life night, Baptism Seminar, the Rosary and Divine Mercy devotions, RCIC in Spanish, RCIA in English and Spanish, Bible Study, Curso Apollo (Spanish), Bible Study with John Boyd, Confession, CFM, St. Vincent distribution, and Familia (Women).

Youth news: Next Monday, May 19 the sixth graders will join the middle school youth for a closing celebration. The social night for the youth will be at Get Air in Temecula, CA on May 16. The Amazing Race to His Amazing Grace will be Sunday, May 18 from 12:30 p.m. to approximately 7 p.m. The Rite of Welcome for first year confirmation candidates scheduled for Saturday, May 17 has been postponed to a later date TBA.

Seventh-day Adventist Church, preaching the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. Sabbath (Saturday) services will begin with Bible study classes at 9:30 a.m. for all ages. The adult lesson is entitled, "Christ, the End of the Law," continuing our quarter's studies on "Christ and His Law." Lessons are available by looking up "ssnet.org" online. The sermon will be presented by Pastor John Anderson entitled, "Nailed to the Cross." Sermons are posted on our website which can be located at sdavalleycenter.net. A fellowship meal will be served after the church service. Sunday there will be singing at 10 a.m. at the Villas Convalescent Center in Escondido. Wednesday is prayer meeting at 7 p.m., with supper at 6 p.m. We are studying the book The Desire of Ages on the life of Christ. All are invited. St. Francis Episcopal Church
St. Francis Episcopal Church is a vibrant church in Pauma Valley. The church's mission is to share the love of Christ. The church is located at 16608 Hwy. 76 near the Pauma Valley Community Center. All are invited to join in our Sunday morning worship services.
This week the celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ will continue. Holy Eucharist is celebrated at both our Sunday services. The 8 a.m. service is a quiet service without music. The 10 a.m. service offers congregational singing and a weekly musical offering by the St. Francis Choir. After the 10 a.m. service, there is food, coffee, and conversation for all. Sunday School and babysitting are available at the 10 a.m. service.
A celebration of Pentecost will be held on June 8. The Congregation is invited to dress in red. We will celebrate the birthday of our church. Join us for special worship with balloons, cake, and ice cream.
Every Thursday at 10 a.m., people gather at St. Francis for weekly Bible study and prayer. Newcomers are welcome to join in the Thursday fellowship, prayer, and the study of God's Word. The Episcopal Church welcomes all to celebrate and share Christ's love for his people.
