Ridgeview Church

The quintessential "country church". Friendly people, great music and sermons that are entertaining, thought-provoking, and usually not boring. This Sunday, Pastor Bill will be speaking on a topic that'll blow some minds! Ridgeview Church is a great place to make new friends, reconnect with old ones, and discover God's purpose for your life. St. Stephens

Parish activities for this week begin with the Knights of Columbus breakfast for the Confirmation candidates, then First Communion in Spanish, Middle School Youth night, Special Youth Nite for Seniors, the Rosary and Divine Mercy Devotions, Adoration, RCIA in English and Spanish, Bible study, Bible study with John Boyd, Confession, Familia for Men and St. Vincent de Paul pantry distribution.

San Diego Blood Bank Blood Mobile will be here in the parking lot on May 25 from 8 a.m. to 1p.m. To make an appointment online, log on to and click on Donate Blood. Be sure to eat a good meal and drink plenty of fluids before donating blood. You must show a picture I.D.

Bishop Gilbert Chavez will be here at St. Stephen's parish on Sunday, June 1at 3 p.m. to celebrate the Rite of Confirmation with our Confirmation candidates. Rehearsal will be Friday, May 30 beginning with the 5:30 p.m. Mass. Confession will be available during rehearsal and Candidates and Sponsors are encouraged to receive this Sacrament in their preparation.

Whether it is for Grad or Dad, it is always SCRIP Time. You can buy candy from See's, tools from Lowe's or a gaudy tie from Macy. How about iTunes or Amazon? If you are struggling to decide what to buy that senior or eighth grader for graduation or Dad for Father's Day, let them buy the clothes they like from their favorite store with a gift card. Lighthouse Catholic Media CD's are available in the baptistery with great new titles available to help you learn more and grow in your faith. A small donation of $5 per CD is requested to support the ministry.

Seventh-day Adventist

Seventh-day Adventist Church, preaching the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. Sabbath (Saturday) services will begin with Bible study classes at 9:30 a.m. for all ages. The adult lesson is entitled, "The Law of Christ and the Law of God," continuing our quarter's studies on "Christ and His Law." Lessons are available by looking up "" online. The sermon will be presented by Earl Kapule. Sermons are posted on our website which can be located at A fellowship meal will be served after the church service. Sunday there will be singing at 10 a.m. at the Villas Convalescent Center in Escondido. Wednesday is prayer meeting at 7 p.m., with supper at 6 p.m. We are studying the book The Desire of Ages on the life of Christ. All are invited. St. Francis Episcopal Church

St. Francis Episcopal Church is a vibrant church in Pauma Valley. The church's mission is to share the love of Christ. The church is located at 16608 Hwy. 76 near the Pauma Valley Community Center. All are invited to join in our Sunday morning worship services.

This week the celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ will continue. Holy Eucharist is celebrated at both our Sunday services. The 8 a.m. service is a quiet service without music. The 10 a.m. service offers congregational singing and a weekly musical offering by the St. Francis Choir. Babysitting is available at this service. After the 10 a.m. service, there is food, coffee, and conversation for all.

A celebration of Pentecost, will be held on June 8. The Congregation is invited to dress in red. We will celebrate the birthday of our church. Join us for special worship with balloons, cake, and ice cream. We will have activities following the church service for the children too.

Every Thursday at 10 a.m., people gather at St. Francis for weekly Bible study and prayer. Newcomers are welcome to join in the Thursday fellowship, prayer, and the study of God's Word. The Episcopal Church welcomes all to celebrate and share Christ's love for his people.
