Food Truck Festival to return to Bates Nut Farm August 24

Bates Nut Farm is home to the second annual VC Food Truck Festival Saturday, August 24 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Fifty of Southern California's finest gourmet food trucks will be parked under the trees, offering a wide variety of mobile cuisine.
Spotlighting the gourmet food truck movement that has recently come to the local area, the festival celebrates a new style of street food. A wide variety of cuisine from Asian street fare to decadent desserts will be offered, all reasonably priced. Many family-oriented activities will be happening throughout the day, making this a fun day on the farm for all ages.
Hawaiian Reggae dance band Locali Grown will play on the Bates stage from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Kids will enjoy pony rides, Kids 'n paint, hayrides, face painting, rock climbing and a slide. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets to enjoy their gourmet treats under the trees.
