Apology to our readers

August 28, 2013
Last week members of the community received the Valley Center Magazine's Fall 2013 back to school edition on Thursday, Aug. 22, the day that Valley Center and Pauma students returned to class.

Normally, our back to school edition is sent out to every member of the community the week before school starts. We at The Roadrunner understand that many parents and children rely on getting the magazine on time because it contains the bus schedule.

Due to a problem with our printer we were not able to have a magazine in our hands in time to get it to residents in a timely manner. We understand that this created an imposition for many of our readers and we are sincerely sorry that this happened. We are taking steps to make sure that it never happens again.

In the headline on Page 5 of the magazine we also printed the wrong date for the first day of school. We regret the error.

We value our readers and advertisers and reiterate our commitment to deliver a superior product each and every week.

Comics (The Real Ones) not Political
    August 31, 2013 | 07:35 PM

I understand how important it is to produce a quality newspaper.
There is an issue I'm sure if given a bit of thought you could make many folks happy by just by exchanging the half page of comics with the Fictitious Business half pages.
Trying to read (or shuffle) the comics is a real pain.
    Please consider the change.
    Yours Truly,

    Don Benjamin
