Stampede Rodeo in search of sponsors
March 26, 2014Planning for the Valley Center Stampede Rodeo is under way and organizers are inviting local businesses to saddle up and come along for the ride.
The rodeo, which will take place in conjunction with Valley Center Western Days, May 23 and 24, has all levels of sponsorships available for both business owners and rodeo lovers alike. For as little as $200 sponsors can help put on this thrilling community event featuring mutton-busting, team roping, barrel racing and bull riding.
Now in its 12th year, the Stampede Rodeo concludes a week-long series of events Celebrating Valley Center's western heritage including the Western Days Parade, an evening musical performance, the election of Valley Center's Honorary Mayor, a carnival and more.
Gates will open for the nighttime performance at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 23; the rodeo begins at 7 p.m. Gates open at noon on Saturday, May 24 and the rodeo begins at 4 p.m. Vendors will be onsite offering a wide variety of food and western themed merchandise for purchase.
Sponsorship to the rodeo helps to support the good work in the local community through supporting local organizations such as the Valley Center Optimists Club, 4H and Future Farmers of America.
