April 5, 2014, CHP reported that at approximately 5:22 pm a 27-year-old male from Escondido was riding his 2013 Harley Davidson Breakout westbound on the SR-76, west of East Grade Rd at an unknown speed.
The rider entered a curve and veered to the right where he hit dirt, lost control and collided into a boulder. The rider was ejected from his motorcycle and died on the scene.
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a factor in this collision. This accident remains under investigation. And no other vehicles were involved.
