Changing to meet your needs

April 02, 2014
You may have noticed some changes over the past weeks to the Roadrunner. While the main design remains the same, we are moving things around to make your reading experience a little easier.

Two weeks ago our opinion page moved to A3, about six weeks ago we added regional news which now has a permanent home on pages B3 and 4. We run a close-up article once a month, a business page and our Around Town section, alternating weeks on A7 allowing for full color on some of your favorite photos.

This week we have expanded Valley Briefs, jumping them to page A5 and are moving the Sheriff Blotters and Emergency Calls to their permanent home on B3. We hope that these changes will not only improve readability of the Valley Roadrunner but also add value to Valley Center's only weekly newspaper by providing news you can use.

Also new this week, we received our San Diego County Visitors Information Kiosk. Chock full of flyers and brochures for some of the area's most popular attractions we invite you all to stop by and see it. While you are here feel free to grab information about those things that interest you and begin planning that next day trip.

The kiosk also has space for us to add information for local attractions, so if your business has a flyer or brochure you'd like us to include stop by the office to discuss promoting your business using this free venue. If you need a flyer or brochure we can help you with that too. Our goal is not only to be the leading provider of local news, but to meet all of the printing, publishing and advertising needs of businesses in Valley Center and the surrounding areas.

We are excited about the changes at the Valley Roadrunner. We've long been one of Valley Center's official Visitor Centers, and for 40 years have been providing the news for residents of our little slice of heaven. Our goals haven't changed over the past 40 years so swing on by and see what the Roadrunner can do for you.
