May 01, 2013Hey Jags! CST testing started this week and for the next two weeks we'll being doing CSTs and AP tests. It's kind of hard to believe that we're already at this part of the year! As the last day of school approaches, we still have a few more important days left in the school year calendar. One of these days is Mother's Day.
If you aren't sure what to do for your mom on May 12, I have an idea. There's something pretty cool going on down in San Diego and you can even see some of our Jags performing in it! As I've mentioned before, there are so many talented students on our campus that are involved in many things. A few of these students, Erica Patstone, Bradley Pettit, Olivia Ferguson, and myself play for the San Diego Civic Youth Orchestra. This Mother's Day, our orchestra will be collaborating with the San Diego Children's Choir for a magnificent concert.
The concert will include well-known pieces such as Imagine and selections from Phantom of the Opera. It's a wonderful way to show your mother you care and support some of our Jags. The concert will be at Copley Symphony Hall in San Diego and starts at 3 p.m.. Tickets are on sale now and you can purchase them at sdcchoir.com/
Come out and enjoy a wonderful Sunday afternoon of music! That's all for this week Jags, until next time!
