The Coyotes middle school team finished the season undefeated after beating Poway 10–6 in the San Diego championship, then the team defeated the Legion from Los Angeles 8–7 for the Southern California championship.

Kobe Brown and Luca Scarpello led the team on offense and goalie Devon Postuma anchored the defense,

"We had a lot of talent on this team and just a great group of boys that worked well together," said coach Morgan Rogers

The Coyotes also fielded a JV team that played its best game of the season against previously undefeated 3D East in the San Diego championship. The Coyotes won 12–8 to hand 3D East its first loss of the year, then went on to take a comeback win in the Southern California championship.

They faced Loyola of Los Angeles, and after falling behind 4–1 early in the game, the Coyotes picked up the pace and dominated down big win.

"I consider it a privilege to coach such enjoyable kids that have a great passion for the game," JV coach Rich Russell said after the tournament.

After a phenomenal championship season, the Coyotes are excited to take to the rinks again next fall.
