Valley Center's High school boys' varsity volleyball lost to the Escondido High School Pumas in three straight sets.

Valley Center's overall standing is currently 8-9, with a league standing of 3-5. The Jaguars have lost two in a row since coming off their win against the Orange Glen patriots on April 25. At press time the Jags will be hosting Del Norte High School. On May 9, the Jags will host the Del Norte Nighthawks who have a 16- 13 overall standing and a league standing of 5-3.

The Nighthawks will be facing Escondido High on May 7 after coming off of a 3-0 loss to San Pasqual on May 2. The Jaguars are looking for a much-needed win.
