This past week Jaguar varsity golfer Grant Colquhoun made the second round for the San Diego CIF Division II playoffs. Though not finishing in the finals, he has made a bit of history. For the first time a VCHS Jaguar has made it to the second round in a very competitive sport in San Diego County.

"Grant is an all around good player, with a solid game, and very good skills. He will only be limited by how much he trains and dedicates himself this summer to the sport.

The whole team was great and it was fun watching them this season. We had some great players in senior Steven Magnany and sophomore Ryan Melendez who qualified for the second round also in CIF and a surprising freshman Michael Cooper will be one to watch in the coming year."
