Valley Center resident Victoria Price honored as Outstanding Senior at Boston University

As part of Boston University's commencement exercises last month, Valley Center resident Victoria Price received a Blue Chip Award in recognition of her achievements, academics and contributions to the University from the College of Communication. Shown in the photo is Miss Price accepting her award accompanied by her parents, Ken & Barbara Price as well as Professor R.D. Sahl. The Blue Chip Award, the most prestigious student honor conferred by the College of Communication, recognizes graduating seniors for their achievements across several categories including academic excellence, leadership in college and university organizations, involvement in professional activities and demonstrated talent in their fields of study. This year, 12 students representing each of COM's three departments were given the award. Miss Price received her award from the Department of Journalism.
