Traffic congestion around the schools the first day is always a problem. Parents wishing to transport their children the first day should plan on arriving well before school begins. School buses activate their red flashing lights at all required stops. Drivers must stop when red lights are flashing or bus stop signs are visible.

School lunches will be $2.50 for grades K-8 and $2.75 for grades 9-12. Breakfast will be served at a cost of $1.50 for grades K-8 and $1.75 for grades 9-12. Milk will also be available for students bringing their lunches at a cost of 25 cents. It is highly recommended that parents pay beforehand for their children's lunches by using You can locate this link on the district website under Quick Links. School sites may be called for more information.

Classroom assignments for grades K-8 will be posted at their respective schools and on Parent Portal starting Friday, Aug. 16, at 3:00 p.m. Students and parents are encouraged to review the posted listings prior to school opening. This will familiarize students with their homeroom assignments prior to the first day.

Parents now have access to school site information and student enrollment/registration forms online. Please send them with your child during registration (grade 6-12) or first day of school (grades TK-5). Any questions can be answered by your child's school office. This information is required for each student every year, grades K-12. New this year, parents/guardians can update their address, phone number, email, and emergency contact information online via the parent portal.

All students entering grade 7 are required to show proof of immunization for Tdap before the first day of school.

Just a reminder that K-2 students who ride the school bus home will be brought back to school if a parent or guardian is not at the bus stop to pick them up, unless they have a note on file with the school district.
