Molly's Column, Oct. 10

October 07, 2013
Hi, this is Molly! How are you doing? Today we will talk about: teeth, school, character traits and then goals.

Alrighty … teeth, the white things that chomp down your food. Recently I lost four molars that were not so healthy, I think. So floss, brush your teeth really well and if you have mouthwash, use it. Remember these buckaroos will be with you for a long time, so take care of them.

Now we are onto school. In my class, we have been working really hard for trimester 1 Benchmark Tests. Most of us take school really seriously. In class, always try hard and never give up! Also in class, I didn't have any missing assignments for trimester 1 and my progress report was good too.

At Valley Center Elementary, we had a wonderful and funny assembly about character traits. The few traits are: responsibility, trustworthiness, caring and respect. When you are at a sporting event, school or anywhere try to remember these traits.

Alrighty then, goals. My goal for this week is to get 90 to 100 percent on my first benchmark test. Every week try and make a goal and you can even write it down so you can remember it. Last week's goal was to get between 90 and 100 percent on my pop quizzes. I got 89 percent because I made little dandy mistakes. Next time I am going to check my work because on two of the problems I showed my work and got the answer correct but circled the wrong bubble.

My mom recently got a new job as a teacher's aide for our schools. So I am proud of my mom and hopefully she goes back to college to become a teacher.

Beep, beep, I'm a running Roadrunner writing all day!
