Domenic Antonacci was born Aug. 8, 1996. He is currently a seventeen year-old senior at Valley Center High School who has both academic and athletic passion.

Family, friends and religion are three big parts of his life that he believes have set a great foundation for him on which to build. He admits that without the guidance of his parents, both blood and not, he very well would not be the man he is today.

Some of the courses he has enjoyed taking are chemistry, physics, AP statistics, and economics. He hopes to achieve 4.0 overall GPA and plans to carry that into college where he would like to study either a form of mechanical engineering or economics.

He also takes pride in representing VCHS Jaguar athletics through baseball and basketball. Outside of school he likes to wakeboard and snowboard but his main passion is baseball and he aspires to play at the collegiate level someday.

A role model in Domenic's life has been his uncle who he has looked up to for many years. He has been a big inspiration to him due to his daily courage and perseverance to push on through the daily challenges that come with being a quadriplegic. In Domenic's eyes his uncle's willingness to press on and fight another day has empowered him to want to work harder and to never quite.

Domenic tries to thank God everyday for the blessings and opportunities He has given him and also drives to be the best man he can be. Lastly, he wanted to end with his favorite quote, "I can accept failure, everyone fails at something, but I can't accept not trying again," Michael Jordan.
