The San Diego Sheriff's Office Substation on Lake Wohlford Road in Valley Center had a full house on Saturday when victims of a recently busted theft ring turned out to identify their property. A computer was set up in the lobby with photos of recovered items and individual items were displayed in a secured room so that victims could identify what was their property. Twenty-eight thefts were confirmed by the sheriff's office. "We are asking that everyone who has been a victim of a theft who have yet to report it please contact us so we can return their property to them," said Deputy Sheriff Laura Whalen. The Substation can be reached by calling dispatch at 858-565-5200.
