Locals request your votes via Facebook

Left Coast Engineering, an Escondido business powered by three Valley Center residents, requests local support to win a grant from JP Morgan Chase.

The small design company seeks to reach 250 votes on the social media website Facebook in order to reach the next round of a contest sponsored by the financial giant. Left Coast Engineering seeks to acquire a grant in order to improve its marketing for products such as an electrical probe which controls sprinkler systems through wireless technology.

According to Amy Archipov, a Valley Center resident who works for the company, only 28 more votes are needed. Their candidacy for the grant will then by reviewed by 12 judges who will determine who wins the grant.
