November 18, 2013Hi! This is Molly! How are you doing? Enjoying your chilly weather? I sure am because we need a break from the sun. Okay let's get to school …
In my class we have been working on Thanksgiving crafts, algebra and writing/language arts. For the Thanksgiving crafts we wrote down five things we are thankful for. We glued that down and then we did water color paintings. Then we glued all that down on a green sheet of paper. The top five things I am thankful for are: God/church, a wonderful family, roof over my head, food/water and health.
For math we are doing a lot of algebra. Now we are going to let the algebra be for awhile and we are going to work on fractions.
In writing we are learning how to make our writing interesting with stronger words like: like, love, adore, etc. Stronger words that are based off of a weak word: bad is the weak word … horrible is stronger, but outrageous is strongest!
My favorite Thanksgiving tradition is (well, this is just one), putting too much food on my plate and not eating it all. I also love to help my mom in the kitchen. Also, this goes with all holidays, I love decorating the house. My foods for Thanksgiving are: turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, carrots, green beans, rolls, jello salad, cranberry sauce, little pickles, olives and my Poppy's apple pies and pumpkin.
Next week we do not have school so I might not write my article. Happy Thanksgiving Season!
Beep, beep, I'm a running Roadrunner writing all day!
