Dec. 12

A man was arrested and charged with willful cruelty to child without injury or death, violent felon in possession, own or purchase body armor, convicted felon possession, purchase or use tear gas, all felonies, at 8:30 a.m. on Culdesac Lane in Pauma Valley. The man was also charged with knowingly manufacture, sell, or possess a blowgun or ammunition, and possession of unlawful paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

A vehicle was reported stolen from the 35000 block of Pala Temecula Road in Valley Center at 3:48 p.m.

Dec. 19

3 incidents of commercial burglary were reported at Harrah's Casino on Harrah's Rincon Way, in Valley Center, at 3:34 p.m. The casino was the victim of burlary (for purpose of fraud/forgery). The amounts were $150, $100, and $185. The status of the case is: "Recovered (Only Counterfeit/Forgery and Stolen Property Cases).

Dec. 20

A man and a woman were arrested for stealing a pickup truck on N Lake Wohlford Road, Valley Center, at 9:55 p.m. The man, Wayne Roberts, was charged with three felonies: other agency vehicle theft/recovery, receiving known stolen property, and possession of controlled substances. The woman, Sarah Howe, was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, and possession of controlled substances, both felonies.

Sheriff's deputies responded to a call of battery on person and obstruct/resist peace officer on Canyon Road at 1:13 p.m. The suspect, a man, was cited and released for the two misdemeanors.

Four individuals were arrested for drug-related charges on Nyemii Pass, Valley Center at 11:25 a.m. Man 1 was arrested for use/under influence of controlled substances, a misdemeanor. Woman 1 and Man 2 were both arrested and charged with possession of controlled substances (felony), use/under the influence of controlled substances (misdemeanor), and misuse of hypodermic needle/syringe (a misdemeanor). Man 3 was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substances (felony), use/under the influence of controlled substances (misdemeanor) and possessing unlawful paraphernalia( misdemeanor).

Dec. 21

Sheriff' deputies responded to a call of suspicious person on Harrahs Rincon Way in Valley Center at 10:38 p.m. and arrested three individuals. A woman was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, a felony, two counts of possession of unlawful paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and 2 counts of felony bench warrant, a felony. A man was arrested with felony manufacture/sale/possess/etc of metal knuckles. Another man was arrested with use/under the influence of controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

A vehicle was reported stolen (2 door sedan) on the Yellow Brick Road, Valley Center at 11:23 a.m.

A man was arrested and charged with residential burglary, a felony, on Lilac Crest, Valley Center at 4:26 a.m.

A man was arrested and charged with being drunk in public: alcohol, drugs, combo or toluene, a misdemeanor, on Harrahs Rincon Way in Valley Center at 5:15 a.m.

Dec. 22

$306 in misc cash/papers/id was reported stolen from a vehicle on Lake Wohlford Road, Valley Center, at 11:50 a.m.

After a traffic stop, two individuals were arrested. The driver, a man, was charged with driving while license was suspended or revoked: other reasons, a misdemeanor, cited and released. A woman was also charged with use/under influence of controlled substance, also a misdemeanor, arrested. This took place near the intersection of N. Lake Wohlford Road and Kumeyaay Way at 8:53 a.m.

Sherriff's deputies responded to a call of simple battery near the intersection of Pala Mission Circle and Pala Temecula Road at 2:21 a.m.

A man was charged with contempt of court: disobey court order at 3:03 p.m. on Wilkes Rd, Valley Center.

Dec. 23

Miscellaneous tools were reported stolen at 7:27 p.m. on Saint Andrews Laner, in Valley Center.

Several necklaces, bracelets, and rings were reported stolen from a residence at 6:50 p.m. on Valley Center Road, in Valley Center. The stolen goods totaled an estimated $1,750.

$460 in misc cash/papers/id was reported stolen from County Cuts on Valley Center Road, Valley Center, at 10:02 a.m.

Found property was reported at 10:39 a.m. on Lake Wohlford Rd, Valley Center.

Sheriff's deputies responded to a call of motor vehicle grand theft at 9:39 a.m. on Old Guejito Grade Road, Escondido. Christopher Burke was arrested and charged at 12:50 p.m. with felon/addict/possess/etc firearm and grand theft (mot veh theft) both felonies, and 2 counts of possessing unlawful paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. He was armed with a shotgun. The stolen vehicle was a dark green/black motorcycle at an estimated $1,500 value.

Dec. 24

Sheriff's deputies responded to a call of two cases of simple battery on Lake Wohlford Road, Escondido, at 8:56 p.m.

A wallet and miscellaneous cash/papers/ID was reported stolen at 8:29 a.m. on Pala Rd, Pala, Calif.

Dec. 25

Two men were arrested and charged with being drunk in public at 2:15 a.m. on Harrahs Rincon Way in Valley Center.

A man and a woman were arrested and charged with battery with serious bodily injury, false imprison w/viol/menace/fraud/deceit, and conspiracy: commit crime, all felonies, at 11:40 a.m. on Pala Temecula Road, Pala, Calif.

A purse, sunglasses, credit cards, and identification documents (an estimated $95 value) were reported stolen from a vehicle on Oma Roadat 8:07 a.m.
