Jan. 1

A shotgun, rifle, and pistol were reported stolen from a residence at 1:19 a.m. on Pleasant Knoll Lane in Valley Center. The total estimated value of the stolen property was $650.

Jan. 5

An unarmed man was arrested on Harrah's Rincon Way at 12:56 p.m. for misuse of hypodermic needle or syringe, a misdemeanor, and possession of a controlled substance and under the influence of spec controlled substance and possession of a firearm, both felonies.

Jan. 6

Sheriff's deputies received a report of petty theft in the amount of $300 at 4:20 p.m. on N. Lake Wohlford Road in Escondido.

Jan. 8

A woman was arrested on a felony warrant from a different agency at 12:06 p.m. on Morales Lane in Valley Center.

Jan. 10

A traffic stop at 11:03 a.m. near the intersection of N. Lake Wohlford Road and Nyemii Pass resulted in the arrest of a man for use or under the influence of controlled substances and driving while license was suspended or revoked, both misdemeanors, and the felony of possession of controlled substances.

Two men were arrested on Nyemii Pass at 11:49 a.m. for felony charges relating to selling or furnishing marijuana or hashish. The first man was charged with the misdemeanor of vehicle driver or owner other carry firearm into vehicle, as well as the felonies of sell or furnish marijuana or hashish, possession of marijuana for sale, convicted person possess firearm, under the influence of controlled substance, possession of firearm, prohibited person own or possess ammunition, carry loaded firearm with intent to commit a felony, felony bench warrant.

The other man, who was in possession of a handgun, was charged with the misdemeanor of vehicle driver or owner other carry firearm into vehicle, and the felonies of carry loaded firearm with intent to commit a felony, prohibited person own or possess ammunition, sell or furnish marijuana or hashish, possession of marijuana for sale, convicted person possess firearm, and under the influence of controlled substance and possession firearm.

Jan. 11

A case of simple battery with apparent minor injury, a misdemeanor, was reported on Pala Road in Pala at 11:31 a.m.
