Michael Robertson, the owner of Hidden Oaks Ranch, opened up his ranch gates for the 2014 Valley Center Rodeo Queen Pageant on April 12. His ranch offered the contestants the perfect location to show off why they should be the 2014 Valley Center Rodeo Queen, Junior Queen, and Young Miss. The contestants started off the day by showing off their horsemanship skills. In the evening, the contestants opened up the pageant with dancing to the song Wildflower. Bridgette LaHaye, the 2013 Teen Miss Rodeo California, did an amazing job as the Mistress of Ceremonies. The contestants then wowed the crowd modeling their western wear and giving speeches and answering impromptu questions. These young women have spent the last three months preparing for the evening and it really showed. The evening came to an end with the crowning of Renee Terbursh as Queen, Briana Garcia as Junior Queen, and Lacey Bainbridge as Junior Queen.
