FOSTERS FOR PETS
For those of you heading out to the evacuation centers to volunteer, or to cover news stories, please let the people with animals know that they don't have to sleep in their cars with their pets, or stay in parking lots because they're not allowed inside.
The SDASF HAS A LARGE LIST OF FOSTERS FOR DOGS, CATS AND HORSES available. Please write down my number on a scratch piece of paper and hand it to these people to call me......I'll work on matching them up with a foster home, and then they can be free to deal with more important issues.
It seems like a lot of these people aren't aware that we have fosters available, and it would make things so much easier for them if they weren't having to deal with their pets while they're out there.
