Plaques restored to Heritage trail

June 19, 2013

Last week the county Deptartment of Public Works reinstalled plaques on the Heritage Trail that were stolen in December of 2011. The original plaques were made of bronze and were probably stolen for the intrinsic value of the metal. The new plaques are made of a tough but worthless resin that looks good, but has no melt down value.
