SportQuest to host Tennis Academy Summer Camp next week

June 19, 2013

SportQuest is still accepting applications for the SportQuest Tennis Academy Summer Camp that will run June 24–28 at Adams Park.

The camp is for players of all skill levels ages 6–16 and runs from 9 a.m.–3 p.m. each day.

For the five days of the camp, each camper will receive three hours of tennis instruction, one hour of swimming time and one hour of games in the park. Campers are asked to bring their own lunch.

The cost per camper is $150 for members of the Valley Center Tennis Club and $165 for non-members. But the camp organizers do not want the cost to interfere with a child’s ability to participate in the camp, so a limited number of partial scholarships are available.

Contact camp director Seth Leichtfuss by e-mail at or by phone at 619-777-6257 for camp registration forms or for more information.

In addition to the tennis camp, please note the following SportQuest events on your calendar:

July 29–Aug. 2: SportQuest Camp from 9 a.m.–noon daily for ages 6–11 and 3 p.m.–5 p.m. daily for ages 12–16. Sports include soccer, tennis, volleyball and basketball and the cost is $35 for the week.
