Valley Center Sheriff's blotter, Aug. 16-27

• A traffic stop on Aug. 16 at 10:32 p.m. led to the arrest of a man for expired registration, driving without a valid driver’s license, possession of marijuana (one ounce or less) while driving, and storing open alcohol in vehicle.

• A man was arrested at 10:45 p.m. on Aug. 16 on Pauma Reservation Road for being drunk in public.

• A construction/heavy equipment vehicle was reportedly stolen from Valley Center Road at Mac Tan Road sometime between Aug. 16–19.

• Miscellaneous items of computer equipment and eyeglasses were reportedly stolen on Nyemii Pass on Aug. 17 sometime between 3:30 and 11:30 p.m.

• Two men were arrested for burglary at 6 p.m. on Aug. 17 on Pala Road.

• A man was arrested on Aug. 17 at 6:10 p.m. on Harrah's Rincon Way for being drunk in public.

• A woman was arrested at 3:30 a.m. on Aug. 17 on Pala Road for being drunk in public.

• Miscellaneous cash and papers valuing $500 were reportedly stolen from Nyemii Pass on Aug. 18 at 1 p.m.

• A man was arrested on Aug. 18 at 7:30 p.m. on Harrah's Rincon Way for being drunk in public.

• A license plate was reportedly stolen on Ranch Creek Road sometime between Aug. 11–18.

• Several items, including a power tool, a hand saw, an electronic component, and other miscellaneous tools were reportedly stolen on Harrah's Rincon Way sometime between Aug. 13–19.

• Traffic stop on Valley Center Road at Cole Grade Road on Aug. 20 at 2 a.m. let to the arrest of a man for possession of a destructive device, possession of a controlled substance, possession of unlawful paraphernalia, and DUI.

• Sheriff's deputies recovered a stolen vehicle on Guejito Road on Aug. 21 at 10:14 a.m.

• Papa Bears Restaurant was reportedly the site of a commercial burglary that happened sometime between Aug. 21 and 22.

• A woman was arrested on Pauma Reservation Road on Aug. 22 at noon for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

• Sheriff's deputies recovered a stolen vehicle and arrested a woman for possession of a stolen vehicle and being under the influence of a controlled substance. The arrest occurred on N. Lake Wohlford Road at 1:32 p.m. on Aug. 23.

• Several items, including a computer, several power tools and hand tools were reportedly stolen from a vehicle on Fruitvale Road at 4:30 a.m. on Aug. 24.

• Four people were arrested in separate incidents for being drunk in public on Harrah's Rincon Way on Aug. 24.

• Miscellaneous clothing items and a bag were reportedly stolen from a vehicle on the Pala Road at 4:17 a.m. on Aug. 25.

• Two men were cited for an illegal speed contest on Valley Center Road at Chaparral Terrace at 4:15 p.m. on Aug. 25.

• A bag was reportedly stolen from a vehicle on Pala Road sometime between 8:30–9:25 p.m. on Aug. 25.

• A man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs on Cole Grade Road at Millco Lane at 8:16 p.m., Aug. 25.

• A vehicle was reportedly stolen from Harrah's Rincon Way sometime between 6:30–7:30 a.m. on Aug. 27.

• A traffic stop on Valley Center Road at Lake Wohlford Road at 1:54 a.m. on Aug. 27 lead to the arrest of a man for possession of a controlled substance (PCS), being under the influence of said substance and possession of unlawful paraphernalia.
