SportQuest to offer group tennis lessons in January

All this month, SportQuest is offering group tennis lessons for young players wanting to learn more about the game.

From Jan. 730, children ages 613 can take part in the group lessons, which run from 3:154:45 p.m. from Tuesday through Thursday.

Lessons will be held at the Adams Park tennis courts for each age group will be once a week on either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, depending on age and ability, for a total of four group lessons and a total of 6 hours. A bonus one-hour private lesson (value $30) will also be provided for new students and Valley Center Tennis Club (VCTC) members, which equals a total of seven hours.

The schedule for each of the days is as follows: Jan. 9, 1113 year olds; Jan. 14, 67 year olds; Jan. 15, 810 year olds; Jan. 16, 1113 year olds; Jan. 21, 67 year olds; Jan. 22, 810 year olds; Jan. 23, 1113 year olds; Jan. 28, 67 year olds; Jan. 29, 810 year olds; Jan. 30, 1113 year olds.

The price of the lessons is $60 for VCTC members and $67 for non-members. A limited number of partial scholarships as well as family discounts are available.
