Hey Thunderhawks! On Jan. 24 we started the Pasta for Pennies program so start saving your change. There will be competition between fourth period classes. Students can bring in loose change, currency, or checks in order to raise money for the Leukemia/ Lymphoma Society. The first day students may bring in money is Jan. 27. The program will end on Feb. 14. The fourth period class that collects the most amount of money earns a special luncheon sponsored by the Olive Garden Restaurant. We are almost to the end of the year, believe it or not. That means yearbooks will be out soon! They are on sale now. There is a link on the Middle School website and they are only $35. Yearbooks are a great way to remember the great year we’ll all have! Wear your brightest neon clothing on Feb. 7 and plan on staying after school for the “Blackout” Neon Glow dance party. The party starts at 3 p.m. and ends at 5 p.m. in the pavilion and multi-purpose room. There will be a black light, games to play and food to purchase. The cost is only $5. All eligible students (6th, 7th and 8th) with current ID card are invited to attend. Just because the Great Kindness Challenge is over doesn’t mean you have to stop being kind to others. In fact, you should be kinder than ever! Kindness matters! For this week... This Thunderhawk is flying away!
