Ridgeview Church

A church reminiscent of the Star Wars bar scene. Great music, an eclectic bunch of people, and sermons that won’t put you to sleep. Pastor Bill is currently speaking on “To save a family, Strengthening your relationships.” He’ll be joined by a guest, Pastor Ludwig Gresseau, who is heading up a return missions trip to Haiti this summer. St. Stephens

This week begins with the Knights of Columbus parish breakfast, then Valentine’s Bake Sale, Confirmation preparation, Youth Groups, CCD, RCIC in Spanish, RCIA in English and Spanish, Bible study on The Book of Acts, Confession, St. Vincent pantry distribution, Spanish Faith Formation, and Catholic’s Divorce Survival Guide. There is no school on Feb. 17-21. Colleen Murphy is coordinating a trip to Joshua Tree State Park for High School Youth on either Wednesday, Feb. 19 or Thursday, Feb. 20. Attention all High School Students: no student parking is allowed in the St. Stephen parking lot during school hours and sporting practice/events. Cars not here for church business will be towed at owner’s expense. The 16th Annual Divine Mercy Conference is Feb. 21-22, 2014 at the Mission San Antonio de Pala, San Juan Diego Center. Bishop Cirilo Flores celebrates the opening Mass on Friday at 7 p.m. No registration is necessary for Mass. There will be many speakers on Saturday. Registration is necessary. Seventh-day Adventist

Seventh-day Adventist Church, preaching the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. Sabbath (Saturday) services will begin with Bible study classes at 9:30 a.m. for all ages. The adult lesson is entitled, “Jesus and the Social Outcasts,’” continuing our quarter’s studies on “Discipleship.” Lessons are available by looking up online. The sermon will be presented by Pastor John Anderson entitled, “Joy in the Morning.” Sermons are posted on our website which can be located at A fellowship meal will be served after the church service. Sunday there will be singing at 10 a.m. at the Villas Convalescent Center in Escondido. Wednesday is prayer meeting at 7, with supper at 6 p.m. We are studying the book The Desire of Ages on the life of Christ. All are invited.
