On Jan. 24 we started the Pasta for Pennies program so start saving your change. There will be competition between fourth period classes. Students can bring in loose change, currency, or checks in order to raise money for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society.

The first day students were able to bring in money was Jan. 27. The program will end on Friday, Feb. 28. The fourth period class that collects the most amount of money earns a special luncheon sponsored by the Olive Garden Restaurant.

We are almost to the end of the year, believe it or not. That means yearbooks will be out soon. They are on sale now! There is a link on the Middle School website and they are only $35! Yearbooks are a great way to remember the great year we’ll all have had.

Attention all eighth graders! On Wednesday, Feb. 25 there will be 8th grade End of the Year Activities. This is a special treat for only the 8th graders.

On Friday, Feb. 28 in your P.E. classes there will be spring pictures. Your parents can purchase these photos before the photo is taken or after. More information was given in P.E. classes a few weeks ago. If you or your parents have any questions you can talk to the office or P.E. teachers.

For this week … this ThunderHawk is flying away!
