Pie Auction to be held Feb. 22

This year’s Jason Armstrong 4-H Pie Auction will be held Wednesday, Feb. 22, 6:30 p.m. at the Valley Center Elementary School Multipurpose Room. The auction is held in memory of Jason Armstrong. The Jason Armstrong Scholarship Fund began in January 1995 after Jason was killed after he got off the school bus on Cole Grade Road. Jason was an active member in the Valley Center 4-H Club and Orange Glen FFA. (more)

VC man arrested for alleged $15,000 theft of water

Sheriff’s deputies Jan. 24 arrested a Valley Center man for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of water from the Valley Center Municipal Water District (VCMWD) and pumping it to his property on Jason Court from a hydrant on Circle R Lane. (more)
