With the undefeated Ramona Bulldogs visiting on Friday night,
the Valley Center varsity football team needed a spark to keep
its own unbeaten record alive. When the running game sputtered,
the Jaguars turned to the passing game, and the special teams
unit came up with a big play that gave Valley Center a 17–16
win.

Junior Quisquis, a tribal member of the San
Pasqual Band of Mission Indians and member of the Hellbound
Natives, broke the longstanding Guinness World Record for Longest
Utility Vehicle (UTV) jump on Saturday.

The Valley Center junior girls lacrosse team
is having a spectacular season on and off the field. The Junior
Jags are presently undefeated, with wins against Santa Fe Christian,
Santee, Navajo (twice), Lakeside, and Penasquitos.
