Native Oaks Golf Club is offering PGA Jr. League for boys and girls ages 8-13 of all skill levels, and registration is now open.
PGA Jr. League brings boys and girls together to learn and play golf on co-ed teams, with expert coaching from PGA Professionals. Players compete in a two-person scramble format that encourages mentorship and builds confidence. PGA Jr. League makes it possible to stay physically distanced while socially connected, making this team-based activity a healthy option for kids.
“PGA Jr. League is such a great way to introduce boys and girls to golf, or for experienced golfers to enjoy a fun and relaxed format,” said John Gray, PGA, Head Golf Professional at Native Oaks Golf Club. “Best of all, families can feel confident that their children are learning a lifetime sport in a responsible and nurturing way.”\
Season runs from early April – end of May (scheduled days subject to change.)
Last June, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, PGA Jr. League released its 2020 Program Guidelines, developed under review from medical advisors and in alignment with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), with the intent of conducting the program in the most responsible manner possible. Native Oaks Golf Club continues to abide by guidelines put forth by local and state health authorities.
