VC dancers perform in ‘colorful concert’

Dancers, dressed in lavish colorful costumes, performed ballet, tap, jazz, swing and lyrical pieces to music depicting the theme such as World of Color, Colors of the Wind, Black and Yellow, Lollipop, Neon Lights, and Firework. In the cast finale number, Color My World, students held glow sticks, which dazzled the audience in a surprise blackout conclusion.

Miss Ann Kunde is assisted at the studio by instructor and choreographer, Laila Schechter. Student classroom assistants are Tuscany Rose Barner, Mollie Chambers, Amme Finton, Makena Merrifield, Anngelica Oreb, Rebecca Rae Villarreal, and Elle Wojnicki.

The school is planning its spring concert, Sleeping Beauty, which will be performed on June 6 at the Maxine Theater.
